Zardari Condemns Indian Aggression, Lauds Unity and Strength of Pakistani People

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has asserted that India’s recent acts of aggression have only served to further unite and strengthen the resolve of the Pakistani people. In a statement on Tuesday, Zardari emphasized that the nation, along with its armed forces, stands ready to respond decisively to any hostile actions from India.

The president paid homage to those who lost their lives due to what he described as unprovoked Indian aggression. He expressed the nation’s collective gratitude towards the soldiers of the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force who sacrificed their lives for the defense and security of the country.

“We are proud of the sacrifices of our martyrs,” Zardari stated. He credited the success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos in diminishing the perceived threat from India, highlighting the role of the armed forces in maintaining the country’s integrity.

Zardari reiterated the commitment of the Pakistani people and military to counter any threats to national security and sovereignty. He assured that any future attacks would be met with a strong and decisive response.

The president expressed his condolences to the families who have suffered losses, including civilians, in the recent hostilities. He extended prayers for the recovery of the injured and conveyed his sympathies to those mourning the loss of their loved ones.
