Lahore: Six young cricketers from Lahore, discovered through the PCB School Cricket Talent Hunt Programme, witnessed Pakistan men's team training at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday. The initiative, led by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, aims to identify grassroots talent and foster their development. The selected players, aged 14 to 16, not only observed the session but also bowled to national team members, gaining insights into international training standards.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the youngsters interacted with team members and coaching staff during the session. This marked the men's team's first training in Lahore after victories in Rawalpindi. They are preparing for a match against England on Sunday at the same venue. Head coach Mike Hesson praised the talent from the programme for their bowling skills and potential, highlighting the importance of both skill and work ethic.
