Vice Chancellor UET Calls for Urgent Hostel Renovations

Lahore: The Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, conducted an inspection of the Tariq Hall and Khalid Hall hostel buildings, expressing concern over their deteriorating conditions. He directed immediate renovations to improve the living standards for students residing in these facilities.

During his visit, Dr. Shahid Munir assessed the availability of essential amenities and underscored the need to preserve the infrastructure of the hostels. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the significance of maintaining a conducive residential environment for students.

Dr. Munir observed the ongoing paintwork in the hostel rooms and noted that the renovation efforts aim to restore the aesthetic value of the hostels. The objective is to establish a model residential environment that enhances the overall student experience.

Accompanying the Vice Chancellor were Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, Senior Warden Dr. Ijaz Ahmad, and Public Relations Officer Dr. Tanveer Qasim, who were present to support the initiative and ensure the implementation of the directives.
