Bahawalpur, July 23, 2021 (PPI-OT):Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Worthy Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur hosted a Dinner for hostel students from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan who couldn’t go to their homes to celebrate Eid. Deans, faculty members and officers also attend the event. Islamia University of Bahawalpur has hundreds of students from other provinces who live in University hostels.
It is an annual tradition in the university as the Vice Chancellor hosts a Dinner for these students. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob said that the Islamia University is a symbol of national unity showcasing the cultural diversity, having students from all parts of the country. The students thanked the Vice Chancellor and senior faculty members and officers for sparing time on Eid day and hosting a dinner for students who were away from their homes and this event has made their Eid Day full of happiness and joy.
