Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore recently held a meeting at its City Campus to discuss its strategic plan for the years 2026 to 2030. Presided over by UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus, the meeting was attended by senior faculty and administrative officers, including Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof. Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani and Registrar Sajjad Hyder.
According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the meeting covered a broad range of topics crucial to the institution's future development. Discussions focused on academic excellence and internationalization, research, innovation and commercialization, veterinary advancement, and solutions for livestock growth. Additionally, the agenda included industry collaboration, community engagement, promotion of entrepreneurship, governance, digital transformation, financial sustainability, and student access and support services. The meeting also emphasized institutional development and resource mobilization as key areas of focus for the upcoming strategic period.
