UoS Art Exhibition Honors the Resilience of the Working Class

Sargodha: A recent art exhibition at the University of Sargodha’s Institute of Art and Design offered a poignant tribute to the resilience and dignity of the working class through various artistic mediums. Curated by students from Graphic Design and Fine Arts under the guidance of lecturer Naveed Shareef, the event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, with Director Sports Ahmed Khan Haral also in attendance.

According to University of Sargodha, the exhibition featured over 100 photographs and 25 oil and watercolor paintings, each piece weaving a visual narrative of labor and perseverance. These artworks highlighted the everyday struggles faced by workers while celebrating their contributions to society. The event drew a significant number of attendees, including Director IAD Ms. Maryam Saif, faculty members, students, and visitors, who praised the students’ creative efforts. The display was noted for its effective use of art as a medium to acknowledge and honor the working class.
