University of Punjab Announces Rescheduled Ph.D. Defense of Kifayat Ullah

Lahore, The University of Punjab has rescheduled the public defense and viva voce examination of Mr. Kifayat Ullah, a Ph.D. scholar in the discipline of Public Health. Originally set for , the defense will now occur on , 2024, at noon, owing to an official holiday.

According to University of The Punjab, the event will take place in the Committee Room of the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS). Mr. Ullah’s dissertation, titled “Reasons for Childhood Defaulters in Expanded Program on Immunization and Effect of COVID-19 on Uptake of Routine Vaccination in Swat, Pakistan,” addresses significant public health issues. Faculty members, as well as M.Phil and Ph.D. scholars, are encouraged to attend this academic examination.

This Ph.D. defense is expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on public health, immunization, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on routine vaccination programs, especially within the context of Pakistan’s Swat region.
