Turbat: The University of Turbat recently organized an awareness session dedicated to informing students from the coastal region of Balochistan about undergraduate scholarships offered by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The event, held on February 6, 2026, in the university's Video Conference Room, aimed to enhance educational opportunities for students from various academic departments.

According to University of Turbat, Ms. Shabana Urooj, Project Manager of Human Resource Development at HEC, participated virtually in the session. She provided a detailed presentation on the scholarship program, explaining its framework, application procedures, objectives, eligibility criteria, and key guidelines.

During the session, Mr. Badal Khan, In-Charge of the Financial Aid Office, Mr. Ijaz Ahmed, Director of Public Relations, and Mr. Chakar Hyder, Director of Student Affairs, emphasized the university's commitment to supporting students. They highlighted the efforts of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan in facilitating access to educational opportunities and financial assistance through scholarship programs.
