TransGroup and ARY Secure International Broadcast Rights for Pakistan v England Test Series

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the consortium of TransGroup and ARY has been awarded international broadcast rights for the upcoming three-match Test series between Pakistan and England, set to begin next week in Multan and Rawalpindi.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the broadcast rights were awarded through a transparent tender process. The series, starting on October 7 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, will feature a star-studded commentary panel, including former England Test captains David Gower, Michael Atherton, and Nasser Hussain, alongside Ian Ward. From Pakistan, commentators will include former Test captains Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja, Test cricketer Bazid Khan, and former Pakistan women’s captain Urooj Mumtaz. Zainab Abbas will serve as the presenter for the series.

The Test matches will be broadcast globally using 28 High-Definition cameras, with technologies such as buggy cam, drone cam, and the Hawk-Eye review system. In Pakistan, the series will air on A-Sports, Ten Sports, and PTV Sports, with live streaming available on Tamasha. Sky Sports will cover the series in the UK, with BBC Sport as radio partners.
