TNFJ Commemorates Oath Renewal Day with Nationwide Events


Rawalpindi, In accordance with the directives of Allama Aghasid Hussain Maqdisi, leader of Tehreek Nafez Fiqh Jafariya (TNFJ) Pakistan, and Quaid Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, February 10 marks a day of significant commemoration with special events and organizational conventions held across the country. These events are dedicated to the memory of the Deena Convention, highlighting the impact and the historical significance of the Junejo-Mousavi Agreement of May 21, 1985.



According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the central event takes place at the TNFJ headquarters, Shia Ali Mosque in Rawalpindi, led by Allama Aghasid Hussain Makdisi. Jameel Qureshi, the convener of the Oath Renewal Committee, emphasized the Junejo-Mousavi Agreement’s role in safeguarding the rights to Milad and mourning processions, ensuring these religious expressions remain unimpeded. He praised Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi’s leadership for not only guiding the Jafaria community but also thwarting conspiracies against religion and the nation.



The day also pays tribute to the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions, underscoring their sacrifices that keep the essence of Hussainism alive. Religious gatherings and mourning programs were organized in major cities, including the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, where scholars and members of the TNFJ delivered speeches on the significance of Imam Hussain’s (AS) stand for justice and the protection of Islamic values from Madinah to Karbala.



The series of events across the country reflect TNFJ’s commitment to preserving the religious and historical heritage of the Jafaria community, promoting unity and religious understanding. These commemorations serve as a reminder of the enduring legacy of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the principles of justice, sacrifice, and steadfastness he embodied.
