Tehreek Nafez Fiqh Jafaria Announces “Days of Welcoming Ramadan” from 27th to 29th ShabanPPP Women’s Wing President Faryal Talpur Commemorates International Women’s Day

Islamabad, Tehreek Nafez Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ) has declared the 27th to 29th of Shaban as the “Days of Welcoming Ramadan,” an initiative to prepare for the holy month of Ramadan with special prayers and activities. The announcement was made by Allama Basharat Hussain Emami, Secretary General of TNFJ, who emphasized the need for the government to implement measures ensuring uninterrupted electricity and gas supply during Ramadan, and to take actions to alleviate the economic burdens faced by citizens.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the days leading up to Ramadan, established by Quaid-i-Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, will be marked with programs that include special prayers for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine and for the success of Pakistani soldiers. Emami highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a period of spiritual reflection, improvement, and a closer connection to God, stating that fasting serves as a means of self-purification and is highly esteemed in the Quran, Hadith, and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt.

The Secretary General further elaborated on the virtues of fasting, mentioning that it acts as a shield against hellfire and is so esteemed that its reward comes directly from God. He reminded that the essence of fasting extends beyond mere abstinence from food and drink; it also includes maintaining a demeanor of patience, avoiding anger, malicious speech, conflict, and immorality.

To ensure the successful observance of the “Days of Welcoming Ramadan,” TNFJ has formed a central committee responsible for organizing and overseeing the planned activities across the country. These initiatives aim not only to prepare the community spiritually for the upcoming month but also to foster an environment of peace and solidarity, especially for those who are oppressed or facing hardships.
