Rawalpindi, The Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqah Jafari (TNFJ) has announced the commencement of a week-long celebration dedicated to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his family, starting from the 1st of Sha’ban. This period marks the birth anniversary of Hazrat Sayyidah Zainab bint Ali (AS), with activities planned across the country to honor the Prophet and his lineage. The initiative, led by the central convener Shaukat Abbas Jafari, was established by Quaid Millat-e-Jaafria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi and is set to run from the 1st to the 7th of Sha’ban.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the announcement came during a meeting held in Rawalpindi under the chairmanship of Shaukat Abbas Jafari. The meeting saw the review of administrative affairs and the appointment of conveners in all provinces, including the federal capital. Jafari, in his address, emphasized the importance of following the teachings of Muhammad and his family as a means of salvation and unity. He appealed to the Muslims of Pakistan to participate in gatherings and events celebrating the noble figures of the Prophet’s family, emphasizing unity and resistance against any form of discrimination among Islamic schools.
The week of celebrations aims to foster service, development, and defense of the religion and country, urging the media to cover the events extensively as a demonstration of love for the Prophet’s family. Conveners for the celebration have been nominated across various regions, including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reflecting a nationwide effort to commemorate the occasion.
