Lahore, January 14, 2022 (PPI-OT): Students of MS health Psychology Program set up Health Desk at the Institute of Applied Psychology as part of their course work. From the Health Desk, MS health Psychology scholars daily provide awareness to the students, staff members and visitors regarding the health compromising behaviours and lifestyles which increase their susceptibility to developing a chronic condition.

Moreover, they guide them in how to live a healthy life while educating them regarding regular screening for chronic health conditions like cancer, ESRD, hepatitis, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, etc. They also motivate them to adopt preventive measures. Apart from regular awareness campaigns, students offer services like check-up of blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index. And those who suffer from hypertension or diabetes, they help them in maintaining their routine chart while educating them about the preventive measures. Students vow to keep on spreading awareness regarding contemporary health issues and play their part as productive members of the society.
