Karachi: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General, Humayun Khan, emphasized the Sindh Government's commitment to democratic traditions and constitutional values, announcing that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive full official protocol during his visit to Sindh.
Humayun Khan outlined that the PPP-led Sindh Government stands firm on principles of mutual respect and civility, maintaining a track record of mature political conduct. He noted that the political approach of the PPP does not convert political differences into personal animosity, prioritizing respect for constitutional institutions.
The Secretary General criticized the current leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, accusing it of a confrontational and intolerant attitude. He highlighted the importance of respecting constitutional offices, even amidst political disagreements.
Humayun Khan added that the PPP is committed to practical politics, steering clear of baseless accusations. He urged for political stability and inter-provincial harmony, suggesting that the country needs serious leadership over divisive politics.
He concluded by urging other political parties to reassess their conduct in the interest of national unity, asserting that the Sindh Government's decision is a testament to the PPP’s practice of democracy in its true form.
