Lahore, Punjab University’s Sports Week progressed into its third day with an array of sports competitions involving students from various departments. The event showcased matches in cricket, tug-of-war, badminton, table tennis, chess, Ludo, athletics, and football, adding a vibrant atmosphere to the campus as departments were adorned with colorful decorations.
According to University of The Punjab, the Sports Week is designed to foster a spirit of healthy competition and provide students with recreational activities alongside their academic pursuits. Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mahmood emphasized the significance of sports in maintaining an active and energetic student body. He commended the efforts of Director Students Affairs Dr. Muhammad Ali Klasara and his team for the successful organization of the event across the departments.
The week’s festivities are set to continue with more competitions for both male and female students, offering a platform for showcasing their talents and engaging in friendly rivalry.
