Punjab University Conducts Second Entry Test for Undergraduate Programs

Lahore: Punjab University hosted its second entry test for undergraduate admissions on Sunday, with over 32,000 students participating across 18 major cities. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, alongside Dr. Mumtaz Anwar, chairman of the test committee, visited several examination centers to oversee the proceedings and engage with the media.

According to University of the Punjab, the entry tests were organized at 113 centers nationwide, including 69 in Lahore alone. These tests are essential for admission into various undergraduate programs, with 25 percent of the admission marks derived from these scores. Dr. Mahmood highlighted the university’s efforts to facilitate the students and their parents during the tests, such as setting up guidance camps on both the New and Old Campuses and providing a shuttle bus service.

The results of these critical entrance exams are scheduled to be announced on July 31, 2024. This large-scale testing initiative reflects the university’s commitment to ensuring a transparent and accessible admissions process for prospective students from all over Pakistan.
