Bahawalpur: Vinash Madan, a student from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s Institute of Distance Education, was selected to participate in the prestigious Everest International Model United Nations in Nepal, representing Pakistan on a global stage. He was one of only eight students chosen from thousands of applicants across Pakistan and the sole representative from Punjab province.
According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan, the Everest International Model UN session serves as a critical platform for young leaders to hone skills in diplomacy, negotiation, public speaking, and critical thinking. The session aims to foster peace, cooperation, and cultural exchange while providing insights into the operations of the United Nations and international relations. Vinash Madan, pursuing a BS in Computer Science, has previously represented his community and university at various national and international forums, including events in Turkey, Bangladesh, and Bangkok.
The achievement of Madan underscores the global impact and leadership potential fostered by the Islamia University Bahawalpur.
