Provincial Ombudsman Summons Karachi Water Board Over Longstanding Water Supply Issue

Karachi: The Provincial Ombudsman has taken action in response to a long-standing water supply issue in North Nazimabad, Karachi, by summoning the Karachi Water Board District Central to address the concerns.

According to Pasban Democratic Party, this step follows a petition submitted by Aziz Fatima, President and Media Director of the party’s Women’s Department, on behalf of the residents of Street No. 5, North Nazimabad Block, N.

Fatima filed the petition after residents reported years of disrupted water supply, despite multiple requests to the relevant authorities. The Provincial Ombudsman’s office issued a notice to the Karachi Water Board, leading to the summoning of the concerned area’s Exxion on November 26. The intervention aims to resolve the prolonged issues faced by the affected community.
