Karachi Cyclists Rally to Support Education at TCF’s Annual Event

Karachi: More than 300 cyclists took to the streets of Karachi to support The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in its annual Cycle for Change event. This year’s gathering, which also drew a prominent cycling group from Islamabad, was held at the TCF School Shirin Sultan Dossa Campus in Qayyumabad. The event, organized by Supporters of TCF (STCF), has been conducted annually since 2021.

According to The Citizens Foundation, the event aims to raise awareness and funds for educational initiatives while fostering community spirit. Mr. Mazhar Valjee from Critical Mass Karachi praised the commitment of STCF and Karachi’s cycling groups in supporting education. Mrs. Nighat Daudi, a member of STCF, recalled how the initiative started during the pandemic when traditional fundraising methods were disrupted.

TCF, for nearly 30 years, has focused on educating less-privileged children in Pakistan. Since its inception in 1995 with five schools, TCF now has 301,000 students enrolled across 2,033 schools nationwide. The Cycle for Change event underscores the community’s dedication to improving educational opportunities for Karachi’s youth. TCF looks forward to continuing this annual tradition to further its mission.
