Islamabad: In a recent meeting at the Presidency, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Robina Khalid, briefed President Asif Ali Zardari on the progress and impact of the BISP. The President emphasized the need to extend the program’s reach to benefit a broader segment of marginalized communities.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari expressed his appreciation for the BISP’s performance in aiding the economically disadvantaged populations eligible for support. He urged further enhancement of the program’s network to ensure that its benefits are accessible to the maximum number of people in need across the country.
