Bahawalpur, 16 Oct 2023: The Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC) has given its approval to augment the number of seats for the four-year Bachelor of Science program at the University Nursing College of Islamia University Bahawalpur. The count has been raised from 95 to 120. Furthermore, an allotment of 50 seats has been sanctioned for the two-year Post-RN (Registered Nurses) Bachelor of Nursing program.
Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur, extended his congratulations to Principal of the University College of Nursing, Farhan Mukhtar, and other faculty members for this accomplishment. Dr. Akhtar expressed his gratitude towards the President of the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council, Jawad Amin Khan, along with other council members.
It’s noteworthy that a delegation from the PNMC had conducted a visit to the University Nursing College the previous month. The delegation recognized and lauded the caliber of education, curriculum standards, and the infrastructure the institution offers.
