PICS Celebrates Success of Digital Detox Summer Camp 2025

Sargodha: The Pakistan Institute of China Studies (PICS) recently marked the conclusion of its Digital Detox Summer Camp 2025 with a certificate distribution ceremony. The event celebrated a three-week initiative that encouraged children to disconnect from screens and engage in real-life experiences.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Tahir Mumtaz Awan, Director of PICS, welcomed participants, teachers, and parents. He praised the camp’s vision and highlighted the importance of reducing digital distractions in today’s technology-driven world. Dr. Awan emphasized fostering holistic growth through physical activity, creativity, and social interaction.

Certificates were awarded to children, volunteer teachers, and PICS research officers for their contributions.
