Sargodha: The Career Development Center at the University of Sargodha recently collaborated with the Department of Agronomy to host a recruitment drive for UNICOL Limited – Sugar Division. This initiative aimed to connect graduating students in agriculture and management sciences with potential career opportunities.
The recruitment event, part of the CDC’s ongoing efforts to enhance career facilitation and strengthen industry connections, offered positions for Management Trainee and Cane Development Officer. The selection process involved a written test followed by panel interviews conducted by Bilal Alam, Manager HR at UNICOL Limited, Raja Asif Nawaz, Director Cane and Admin, and Prof. Dr. Kamran from the Agronomy Department.
More than 100 students from relevant fields participated in the event, showcasing their knowledge and skills. The interactive sessions provided an opportunity for students to better understand employer expectations and industry dynamics.
Participants valued the chance to engage directly with a leading industry player on campus. Positive feedback from both company representatives and students highlighted the importance of university-industry collaboration in creating meaningful employment opportunities.
