Pasban Democratic Party Calls for Justice and Reform in Wake of Child’s Murder

Karachi: Leaders from the Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) have pledged full support to the family of Mah Noor Fatima, a young girl who was tragically killed in Lyari.

According to Pasban Democratic Party, the PDP Women’s Department President Aziz Fatima, alongside Nargis Khan and Almas Khatun, emphasized the need for a transparent investigation into the incident and called for ensuring justice for Fatima’s family.

The PDP leaders expressed their concerns over the increasing crime rate, attributing it to a weak justice system. They criticized the silence of the law, which they believe emboldens perpetrators. The murder, which involved the daughter of a police constable, has highlighted urgent calls for legal reforms and stronger enforcement of laws against violence, particularly towards women.

The PDP, under Chairman Altaf Shakoor, is advocating for swift and equitable justice to curb further instances of violence. The party’s leadership, including prominent figures such as Akram Agria, Fazal Rabi Khan, and others, attended the funeral prayers and extended condolences to the bereaved family. They stress that immediate punishment for criminals is crucial to prevent future crimes and protect the dignity and safety of all citizens.
