Lahore: A three-day training session for the Pakistan men’s cricket team commenced today at the LCCA Ground in Lahore, involving 22 players. This session, led by team management under Mike Hesson, aims to refine skills ahead of upcoming tournaments and will conclude on Thursday, June 5.
The players have been organized into three distinct groups. Today, the first group, consisting of Abbas Afridi, Babar Azam, Mir Hamza, Salman Mirza, Saud Shakeel, Shahid Aziz, and Usman Khan, engaged in various skills sessions under the guidance of the team management.
The camp also includes 15 other players: Aamer Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Ahmed Daniyal, Ali Raza, Haider Ali, Khawaja Mohammad Nafay, Khurram Shahzad, Maaz Sadaqat, Mehran Mumtaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufiyan Moqim, and Tayyab Tahir.
The Pakistan Cricket Board asserts that these sessions are crucial for enhancing team coordination and individual performance, setting the stage for future successes on the international cricket scene.
