Dubai: Pakistan Baseball Team defeated the Indian baseball team by 12 – 0 in the second match of the first edition of Baseball United’s event, “The Arab Baseball Classic,” currently taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The match witnessed a commanding performance by the Pakistani team, as they showcased their skills on the field, much to the delight of the audience. Among the attendees was the Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE, His Excellency Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, who was present to witness the game.
According to Pakistan Federation Baseball, Pakistan has made significant progress towards clinching the classic trophy following this victory. Despite India selecting a strong team for the event, the Pakistani pitchers were exceptional, preventing the Indian players from scoring any runs. Shah conveyed a congratulatory message to the nation during a media interaction, reflecting the pride and joy of this achievement.
The Arab Baseball Classic is witnessing participation from teams representing nine countries, including Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia. The event is set to conclude on November 10, with the national team scheduled to return home on the following day.
