Pakistan Advances to Quarterfinals at Asian Junior Squash Championships

HONG KONG: Pakistan continued its winning streak at the 22nd Asian Junior Squash Team Championships, defeating Macau, China. This victory secured Pakistan’s spot in the quarterfinals following a series of dominant performances.

According to a statement by Pakistan Squash Federation, the Pakistani team achieved a clean sweep in their match against Macau. Abdullah Nawaz led the way by defeating Ka Hei Lei with scores of 11-3, 11-4, and 11-6 in a 16-minute match.

Anas Ali Shah followed with a victory over Keng In Leong, securing another 3-0 win with scores of 11-3, 11-3, and 11-4 in a 15-minute match. Sakhi Ullah Khan Tareen completed the team’s triumph by beating Ian Miguel De Dousa with scores of 11-3, 11-3, and 11-7 in 16 minutes.

The team’s performance ensured their progression to the tournament’s quarterfinal stage. The players’ efforts have been acknowledged as a significant achievement for Pakistan in the championship.
