Karachi: The inaugural Under-23 World Squash Championships 2025 witnessed a thrilling day of semifinal matches, with homegrown talent Noor Zaman securing a spot in the men’s final. Zaman delivered a commanding performance against Malaysia’s Ameeshenraj Chandran, clinching a decisive 3-0 victory. Chandran was forced to retire due to injury, allowing Zaman to advance.

In other semifinal results, Egypt’s Kareem El Torkey triumphed over compatriot Ibrahim Elkabbani, securing his place in the men’s final against Zaman. El Torkey overcame a challenging start to win 3-1, showcasing resilience in a match lasting 60 minutes.
