Islamabad: The Female Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) held a condolence gathering to offer prayers and express condolences following the recent losses suffered by faculty members. The event took place in the Seminar Room of Maryam Block on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

The gathering was organized to offer Dua-e-Maghfirah for the mother of Dr. Salma Seholel, the father of Dr. Saima Aslam, and the brother-in-law of Dr. Faryal Umbreen. Faculty members and staff attended to pray for the departed souls and to provide support to the bereaved families.

Prof. Dr. Amna Mahmood, the Incharge of the Female Campus, addressed the attendees. She acknowledged the challenges of losing loved ones and emphasized the importance of unity and empathy during tough times.

“Our hearts and prayers are with our respected colleagues,” Dr. Mahmood stated, encouraging the campus community to continue fostering compassion and support for each other.

The gathering concluded with heartfelt prayers for the deceased, seeking patience and strength for their families during this period of mourning.
