Muzaffargarh Hospital Hosts Pediatric Emergency Workshop to Enhance Regional Healthcare

Muzaffargarh, The Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital (RTEH) recently concluded a two-day workshop titled “From Crises to Confidence: Navigating Pediatric Emergencies with Resuscitation and Trauma Expertise,” aimed at boosting the pediatric emergency care skills of healthcare professionals across various regions including Lahore, Multan, and DG Khan.

According to Indus Hospital and Health Network, the workshop was led by Dr. Saba Laila along with facilitators Dr. Uzma Khurram Sheikh, Dr. Saba Aslam, and Dr. Rashid Lalhaira. Dr. Sameera Fatima, a consultant in pediatric emergency at RTEH, played a pivotal role as the focal person, ensuring the workshop’s success and its meaningful impact on participants. The training emphasized the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) approach and included specialized sessions on trauma resuscitation.

Participants from diverse healthcare backgrounds engaged in hands-on skill stations and comprehensive training sessions that focused on enhancing their ability to recognize and manage critical pediatric cases efficiently. The primary goal of the event was to empower healthcare providers with the necessary expertise to improve pediatric care outcomes throughout the region.

This initiative is part of RTEH’s ongoing commitment to continuous education and the professional development of healthcare workers, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle pediatric emergencies confidently and effectively.
