Muntada Aid Expands Crucial Relief Efforts in Gaza

Gaza: Muntada Aid has intensified its humanitarian efforts in Gaza, now distributing freshly made bread to approximately 1,500 people daily. This initiative is part of a broader relief campaign that also provides clean drinking water to over 4,100 individuals and delivers 500 hot meals each day.

The organization faces significant challenges in procuring food and raw materials for these distributions, describing the process as cumbersome, dangerous, and costly. The cost of a single basic meal in Gaza has soared to over £4, starkly contrasting with the under £0.50 it costs to provide a nutritious meal for one person among Sudanese refugees in Chad.

Muntada Aid has been active since October 2023, and over this period, it has reached more than 172,000 people in Gaza with essential food, water, and medical assistance. The organization continues to appeal for donations to sustain and expand its critical support operations in the region.
