Muntada Aid Expands Essential Services Amid Gaza Challenges

Gaza: Muntada Aid has intensified its humanitarian efforts in Gaza, distributing freshly made bread to 1,500 people as part of its emergency response on the seventh day of its initiative in August. The organization is also providing clean drinking water to more than 4,100 individuals and 500 hot meals daily.

The process of procuring food and raw materials for these distributions remains cumbersome and costly. In Gaza, the cost of a single basic meal is over £4, a stark contrast to the cost of under £0.50 for a nutritious meal for Sudanese refugees in Chad.

Muntada Aid has appealed for continued donations, emphasizing the urgent need for support in Gaza. Since October 2023, the organization has served over 172,000 people with food, water, and medical aid in the region.

The organization highlights the significant challenges faced in delivering aid and underscores the necessity of ongoing support to sustain these critical services.
