Lahore: Vice Chancellor of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology (MNS-UET) Multan, Prof. Dr. Tauseef Izad, met with Vice Chancellor of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, to deliberate on enhancing academic collaborations and institutional interests.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, during the meeting, Prof. Dr. Tauseef Izad detailed the ongoing development projects, emerging programs, and administrative challenges at MNS-UET Multan. He also highlighted the institution's future priorities and sought strategic guidance for improvement plans. Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir acknowledged the initiatives of MNS-UET Multan and provided insights from his academic and administrative experience. He congratulated Prof. Dr. Izad on his new role and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Both academic leaders stressed the importance of strengthening research culture, faculty development, and industry linkages. They also discussed enhancing the quality of academics. President UET Teaching Staff Association, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, and General Secretary, Dr. Rana Tanveer Qasim, were present, contributing their perspectives on academic cooperation and faculty professional development.

The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to bolster institutional collaboration and explore joint initiatives for advancing higher education across the country.
