Islamabad, March 22, 2023 (PPI-OT):Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (Research and Enterprise) of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) chaired the 4th meeting of Board of Advanced Studies (BASR-04) of the year 2023 on Wednesday in the Council Hall of Administration Block, IIUI. During the meeting Dr. Shuja said that the impact of research must reflect in society while hard work in research always benefits humanity.
On this occasion the board members also shared valuable suggestions with the Vice President (R and E), IIUI. The Vice President urged the faculty members to promote a culture of research and guide students to conduct the research with a focus on societal needs. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Samina, Vice President, Female Campus, Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President (Academics), Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Shaikh, Dean FET / Secretary (BASR), Prof. Dr. Amir, Director, ORIC, Deans of the faculties and other relevant Officials of IIUI.
The Board discussed and analysed synopses’ of PhD and MS students of International Institute of Islamic Economics (IIIE), Faculty of Usuluddin, Islamic Studies, Faculty of Shariah and Law, Faculty of Arabic, Faculty of Social Sciences, FSS and Faculty of Management Sciences, FMS, , IIUI. The Board also issued instructions for students regarding research work. On this occasion Vice President, IIUI, also urged the participants to introduce the latest trends of research and explore new avenues for academic excellence.
