Jamshoro: Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) commemorated Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony at the Academic Block, followed by a student-arranged program at Lateef Hall that underscored the historical struggle for independence.
According to Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ikram Din Ujjan led the ceremony and addressed the gathering of students, faculty, and staff. He emphasized the importance of unity and harmony, urging all professionals to strive for excellence to contribute to the nation’s progress and development. Prof. Ujjan also reminded attendees of the sacrifices made by forefathers to uphold religious, cultural, and social values and the vision that established Pakistan as an independent Muslim state.
The event saw a significant turnout, with numerous faculty members, students, and staff participating in the festivities and collective prayers for the nation’s prosperity and peace.
