Overview
This 2-days training workshop aims at imparting a detailed understanding around the time-series and panel data estimators extensively used in M.Phil and PhD research. Eminent university professors of applied econometrics will give hands on training to participants by treating huge macroeconomic and financial data sets using modern econometric packages like EViews, STATA and R.
Training Objectives:
T.O.1. Real-time application of basic and advanced econometric models on macroeconomic and financial data, so that participants may develop a sound understanding of how the underlying dynamics of these models work.
T.O.2. To produce valid, reliable, and consistent research estimates besides gaining a comprehensive understanding of associated implications of each estimator taught.
T.O.3. Equipping participants with all necessary training to make them able for conducting their research tasks independently.
Award of Completion Certificates
By the end of this training workshop, participants will be awarded by training completion certificates from University of Lahore.
