Lahore: In anticipation of the upcoming Lahore Youth Festival scheduled for November 7-9, 2024, a special logo float began its journey across various universities in Lahore on Tuesday, under the guidance of the Sports Board Punjab. This tour aims to drum up excitement and awareness among the youth about the festival’s offerings.
According to Sports Board Punjab, the logo float made its initial stops at the University of Lahore, Beacon National University, Comsat University, and Superior University. The presence of the float was met with enthusiastic receptions from students, athletes, and university officials, highlighting the community’s support and anticipation for the festival.
Divisional Sports Officer Lahore Rana Nadeem Anjum and District Sports Officer Tanveer Shah accompanied the float, alongside Assistant Director Owais Saeed and Section Officer Sarmad from the Higher Education Department, underscoring the event’s significance and the collaborative efforts of local sports and educational authorities.
The tour, which is set to continue until October 16, will make rounds to top educational institutions in Lahore, aiming to engage students and promote participation in the festival. This initiative reflects a concerted effort to foster a vibrant sports culture among the youth in Punjab’s capital.
