Lahore: The Lahore School of Economics and Gallup Pakistan have entered into a strategic partnership to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 1, 2025, aims to leverage the strengths of both institutions to address socio-economic challenges.
The agreement, signed at a ceremony at the Lahore School, outlines joint efforts to utilize the Lahore School’s academic expertise alongside Gallup Pakistan’s capabilities in data collection and public opinion research. This partnership seeks to foster innovative research initiatives that have a tangible impact on society.
A significant aspect of the collaboration is the focus on enhancing research skills for students and faculty. Participants will receive specialized training in advanced research methodologies through workshops, seminars, and practical projects. This initiative aims to equip researchers with analytical tools to conduct evidence-based studies.
The MoU also provides opportunities for students to gain practical experience through internships and collaborative projects with Gallup’s expert teams, offering exposure to professional research environments.
Leaders from both institutions emphasized the importance of aligning theoretical knowledge with practical application during the signing ceremony. The partnership represents a commitment to developing researchers capable of addressing complex issues through data-driven inquiry.
