KARACHI: Serious steps should be taken to grant Karachi constitutional recognition as a Mega City, Vice Chairman of the Pasban Democratic Party. This move aims to enable the city to address its civil issues more effectively and ensure a fair distribution of resources.

According to Pasban Democratic Party, the proposal involves consulting experts and stakeholders to prioritize Karachi’s interests in constitutional amendments and policy formulation. The Sindh government is urged to focus on providing essential services to Karachi’s residents, setting aside political differences. Strengthening the local government system and establishing public-private partnerships are recommended to enhance Karachi’s economy.
