Islamabad Hosts Major Mourning Majlis for Imam Musa Kazim with Thousands in Attendance

Islamabad, Under the organization of Anjuman Dukhtar Islam-Umm Al-Binin WF, a significant mourning majlis took place at the central Imambargah of Jamia Al-Murtaza in Islamabad. This event was part of the Universal Days of Bab Al-Hawaij, initiated by Quaid-e-Millat Jafaria Aghasid Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi. Thousands of women and families gathered to pay their respects and offer condolences, highlighting the reverence and solemnity of the occasion.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the gathering was addressed by Khatiba Aal Nabi (PBUH) Sayyed bint Ali Mousavi, who emphasized the exemplary virtues of Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (AS) as a paradigm of faith, asceticism, and piety. She narrated the struggles of Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (AS) against the tyrannical rulers of his time, his resistance to dictatorship and monarchy, and his efforts to kindle the light of monotheism among the faithful. She recounted the circumstances of his martyrdom, detailing how his body was carried to the bridge of Baghdad after the removal of his chains, symbolizing his ultimate sacrifice in the face of oppression.

The event also served as a platform to reaffirm the commitment to the principles upheld by the central school of Shia, which were declared as essential for the protection and prosperity of the country and the community. The speakers, including Syeda Zainab Alawiah, Zakira Malaika Ghaffar, and others, articulated the need to counter the machinations of those opposed to the faith and the nation through adherence to these guiding principles.

The majlis concluded with the ceremonial procession of Imam Musa Kazim’s (AS) coffin, accompanied by mourning rituals, underscoring the collective grief and solidarity among the attendees. The event not only commemorated the legacy of Imam Musa Kazim (AS) but also reinforced the resolve to follow his teachings in confronting contemporary challenges.
