Karachi: The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and The Hunar Foundation (THF) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to foster entrepreneurship through a collaborative framework that includes incubation, mentoring, and access to educational resources. This partnership aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem and support sustainable business growth in Pakistan.
According to Institute of Business Management, The MoU focuses on the exchange of information and best practices between IoBM’s Shahjehan S. Karim Incubation Center (SSKIC) and THF’s Emerge, Pakistan’s first TVET-focused incubation hub. The agreement was signed by Raza Abbas, Head of SSKIC at IoBM, and Tahir Jawed, CEO of The Hunar Foundation.
The collaboration seeks to provide enhanced support for startups, offer capacity-building opportunities, and promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth. IoBM, serving as the National Chapter of UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network in Pakistan, is keen on partnering with organizations like THF to advance education, inclusion, and skills development across the country.
