Chitral: The Department of Economics at the University of Chitral, in partnership with the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), recently organized a seminar titled “Trade Policies of Pakistan.” The event featured Dr. Samina Naveed, Associate Professor of Economics at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), who provided a detailed presentation on the complexities of national trade policies.
According to University of Chitral, The seminar drew participation from students across multiple departments, including Economics, Management Sciences, Sociology, and Political Science. The event was particularly engaging during the question-and-answer session, allowing students to delve deeper into the subject matter presented by Dr. Naveed.
Dr. Yasir Arafat, Deputy Director of QEC and the focal person for the seminar, expressed gratitude to Dr. Naveed by presenting her with a souvenir. Dr. Naveed, in her closing remarks, commended Dr. Arafat and Dr. Saif Ul Mujahid, Assistant Professor of Economics, for their roles in the successful execution of the seminar.
