Karachi: In the ongoing Touch Me Trophy Under-15 Interzonal Cricket Tournament, two matches were concluded yesterday, showcasing promising young talents and decisive victories. The tournament, facilitated by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi and Medicam Group of Companies, featured two standout games with Zone I Whites and Zone Seven Blues emerging victorious.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the first match saw Zone I Whites triumph over Zone II Blues by nine wickets. Zone II Blues, batting first, were all out for just 59 runs, with Syed Ayan Rizvi as their top scorer at 11 runs. The bowling for Zone I Whites was dominated by Muhammad Azam Abbasi, who took an impressive six wickets for four runs. In response, Zone I Whites quickly chased down the target with only one wicket lost, with Muhammad Azam Abbasi earning the man of the match title for his all-round performance.

The second match of the day featured Zone Seven Blues outplaying Zone Three Whites by 77 runs. Zone Seven Blues set a solid target of 160 runs, thanks to notable contributions from Abdullah Naseem, who scored 48 runs, and Hafeez, who added 39 runs. Hamza Salman led the bowling attack for Zone Seven Blues, taking five wickets for 34 runs. Zone Three Whites struggled in their chase and were bowled out for 83 runs, with Salman Ali scoring the highest for his team at 22 runs. Hafeez, for his overall performance, was named the man of the match.
