Stellar Performances Highlight Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament in Karachi

Karachi: The Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament, currently unfolding at various grounds in Karachi, witnessed exceptional performances in three recent matches, with Gohar Ali’s explosive 196-run inning standing out as the highlight of the day.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the tournament, organized in collaboration with Master Oil Lubricant, featured standout individual and team efforts. In one of the most anticipated matches at Afza Ground, A.M. Sports dominated Ghaziani Cricket Club Colts with a comprehensive 156-run victory. Gohar Ali dazzled the crowd with a scintillating 196 off just 92 balls, including 15 fours and 17 sixes, propelling A.M. Sports to a formidable 395/6 in 40 overs. Ghaziani CC Colts, in response, were bowled out for 149, with Raiyan Khan scoring a valiant 65.

Another notable match took place at Student Sports Ground where Colony Gymkhana overcame Royal Cricket Club by six wickets. Royal CC was restricted to 95 all out, thanks to sharp bowling by Muhammad Maaz and Ahmed Adnan, who each took three wickets. Colony Gymkhana reached their target comfortably, with Zain Arif leading the chase with an unbeaten 41.

The third match saw Korangi Friends Colts defeat Al-Mumtaz Cricket Club by 96 runs at Landhi Gymkhana Ground. Korangi Friends CC posted a challenging 303/6, driven by Muhammad Asif’s 83 and Muhammad Ghufran’s 78. Al-Mumtaz CC, despite Muhammad Hasan’s spirited 69, were all out for 207, with Abdullah Shaikh taking four wickets for Korangi Friends.
