IIUI Reduces 12th Convocation Registration Fee and Extends Registration Date

Islamabad, 17 Oct 2023:The President of International Islamic University (IIU), H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, announced a decrease in the registration fee for the university’s 12th convocation while also extending the registration deadline to October 23rd. This decision was made during a recent steering committee meeting chaired by Dr. Hathal.

The revised fees are now set at 3 thousand, reduced from the previous 5 thousand. The guest fee was also decreased from 3 thousand to 2 thousand. Students who have already registered at the original rate will be either refunded or their fee adjusted accordingly. Dr. Hathal has requested a report concerning the inclusion of a second guest, to be submitted in the coming days for further decision-making.

In another major decision, students who completed their degrees in fall 2022 and spring 2023 will also be eligible to participate in the convocation. Additionally, gold medalists will now have the privilege of nominating someone to receive the award on their behalf.

The 12th convocation is expected to be attended by notable figures including the Chancellor of IIUI and President of Pakistan, Pro Chancellor IIUI, Dr. Ahmad Salem Mohammed Al-Aamri, among other distinguished personalities.
