IIUI President Visits Kuwait Hostel to Assess and Address Student Needs

Islamabad: President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, recently conducted a visit to the Kuwait Hostel at Faisal Masjid Campus. The visit aimed to evaluate the living conditions and engage with students directly regarding their concerns and suggestions.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Alahmed inspected various hostel blocks and student rooms, initiating direct conversations with the residents. The focus was on understanding the students’ needs and assuring them of the university’s commitment to their welfare. Prof. Dr. Alahmed emphasized that his office remains accessible to all students who wish to voice their concerns.

Students from the Faculty of Shariah and Law residing in the hostel highlighted several pressing issues during the visit. Key among these were the need for renovation of hostel buildings, enhancement of mess food quality, introduction of extracurricular activities, and provision of adequate bike parking spaces.

In response, the President issued immediate instructions to the relevant departments to ensure proper cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the hostel facilities. He stressed the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for students to thrive academically.

The visit was attended by several university officials, including Director of Administration and Works Dr. Inam ul Haq, Provost Dr. Muhammad Ibrar Shinwari, and Chief Security Officer IIUI Lt. Col. (R) M. Ali Haider Amin Kazi, along with other relevant department officials.
