Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) conducted its 7th Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President of IIUI. The gathering focused on reviewing and evaluating research synopses from students across various faculties.
Held in the Council Hall of the Administration Block, the meeting was attended by key members, including Vice President Research and Enterprise Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President Academics Prof. Dr. Abdur Raheman, deans, and external academic experts.
The synopses reviewed spanned several faculties, such as Computing and Information Technology, Social Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Languages and Literature, the International Institute of Islamic Economics, and Sciences.
The board engaged in comprehensive deliberations, leading to recommendations and instructions aimed at maintaining high research standards and academic integrity.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed emphasized the importance of quality research, stressing the need for adherence to academic protocols, and reaffirmed IIUI’s commitment to excellence in postgraduate studies.
