Islamabad: A high-level delegation from the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) participated in the Saudi National Day celebration hosted by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Pakistan. The grand reception, held at the Convention Center, was led by Ambassador H.E. Mr. Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malkiy and attended by diplomats, dignitaries, and prominent Islamabad residents.
IIUI President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmad headed the university’s contingent, which included Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed (Research and Enterprise) and Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman (Administration and Finance), In-Charge Female Campus Dr. Amna Mehmood, along with Directors General, Directors, Deans, and representatives from various university departments.
The IIUI’s presence demonstrated the institution’s strong connection with Saudi Arabia and emphasized the robust Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relationship. The event featured a vibrant display of cultural elements from both nations, underscoring the historical significance of the day and the commitment to enhance interpersonal connections between the two countries.
