Lahore, February 01, 2023 (PPI-OT):Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that today our party’s legal advisor Amir Saeed Rawn was abducted by FIA while returning home from my residence. Ch Parvez Elahi strongly condemned the kidnapping of senior lawyer Amir Saeed Rawn by some people in collaboration with FIA. President of the Supreme Court Bar Association Abid Zuberi and Tahir Nasrullah Waraich, the former President of the Bar and the current member of the Bar Council have also strongly condemned this incident.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that the caretaker government and its followers should refrain from such tactics. I don’t know what agenda this caretaker government has come up with. Our close associates are being targeted and picked up. If the caretaker government cannot control law and order, then it is better to go home. He appealed to the lawyers’ community to support Amir Rawn in this situation otherwise anyone can fall under such tactics.
