Karachi: Habib University marked a significant milestone on August 8, 2025, as it welcomed its largest incoming class, the Class of 2029, during the annual Welcome Evening. This event, kicking off Zero Week, featured an unprecedented number of fully funded scholars and the most extensive financial aid offerings in the university’s history, underscoring Habib’s dedication to accessible education and community engagement.
The Welcome Evening provided an opportunity for new students and their families to interact with faculty and staff, gaining insights into various academic programs and exploring resources such as career advising and writing support. During the event, President Rizvi addressed the Class of 2029, emphasizing education’s role in shaping consciousness.
